After your design has been conceived, executed and expertly produced, the next step is, of course, to assemble and ship. Northwest is one of the largest direct mailers in the country, mailing 700,000,000 pieces of direct mail annually.
Variable Imaging.
Whether your direct mail will utilize digital, laser or inkjet technology, this is where it gets personal. We personalize an average of 2 million pieces of mail a day with names, signatures, addresses, logos, charts, photographs, maps and anything you can think of. We utilize high speed laser printers with both simplex and duplex capabilities, ink jet printers and cut sheet laser equipment
Inkjet Imaging.
Our 14 imaging lines, with over 30 Scitex imaging heads, are modular so they can be configured in any way required for the production of your pieces. We can align multiple inkjet heads in simplex or duplex arrangements, and position the machinery for inline label attaching, inline folding and glue tabbing or wafer sealing.
Laser Imaging.
With a huge arsenal of both continuous and sheetfed laser printers, featuring simplex or duplex imaging, Northwest can execute your pieces quickly and efficiently. And thanks to 600 dpi, Highlight Color imaging and MICR ink imaging, your colors will be bright and crisp. We can also output rich halftones and maps.
Inserting.
Northwest has over 35 inserters of various sizes and speeds, including one of the largest Pitney Bowes high speed FlowMaster installations in the country. Our machines can accommodate 12 inserts at one time, envelopes up to 10x13”, and most are equipped with 2-, 3- and 4-way matching systems and selective inserting technology.
Affixing.
Northwest has one of the largest and most sophisticated affixing installations in the country, and can produce hundreds of thousands of pieces a day. With six lines of equipment, we’re able to attach gift and credit cards, magnets, coins, keys, envelopes, and almost anything you can think of onto iron crosses, pop-ups, sliders and other creative formats.
